Museum Hours
The Museum will be closed on the following dates:
May 15th-16th, and May 22nd-23rd.
June 19th-20th
July 3rd-4th
Sept 4th-5th
Hours:
Fridays: 10:30am – 4:00pm
Saturdays: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Groups of 10-20 visitors must contact the Museum Office to make arrangements for a visit. 216-368-3648 or email

COVID policy: Case Western Reserve University visitor policies are followed throughout the Allen Memorial building. For current policy see:

The galleries are a self-guided experience. We are not scheduling tours at this time.
The Dittrick Medical History Center welcomes the public, as well as the university community. A museum, archive, artifact collection and image collection. The Dittrick Center embraces the experience of individuals and society as they grappled with changing conceptions of health and medicine. Every artifact opens a door to unique stories, about patients, healers, and community.
