St Agnes Museum is full of artefacts about the Parish of St Agnes. There’s lots about our rich mining and maritime history and items relating to farming, folklore, religion and archaeology.
History of St Agnes
St Agnes and the outlying villages and hamlets of Mount Hawke, Porthtowan, Mithian, Trevellas and Blackwater have a long and interesting history.
Sam and the Leatherback Turtle
The children’s story Sam and the Leatherback Turtle was written for our younger visitors by Carol Morgan, and recorded for us by Bruce Alexander.
