• To contribute to Nation building by imparting quality higher education to rural youth.
• To inculcate the national spirit and instill a sense of social commitment in the minds of the youth to foster Universal Brotherhood.
• To promote the evolution of lawful and equitable society through higher education.

Last date to register Graduation Day 18.03.2026
The second Internal Examination begins on 09.03.2026.
About Our College
Rajapalayam Rajus College established in the year 1973, has successfully completed 50 years of service in the field of higher education in this cotton based industrial town, Rajapalayam It is the only Government-aided co-educational college in a radius of 30 Kms, catering to the needs of under privileged rural youth, hailing from poor strata of society By its social commitment the college has earned a good name and fame of its own. It is a 50 year old institution located in a sprawling campus of 52 acres of lush green land at the foot of the Western Ghats on the Mudangiar Road. The College is known for its academic excellence and it is affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. The UGC has recognized the College under section 2F & 12B.
To start with, the College offered Pre-University Course in 1973. B.Com., Degree Course was started in 1975 followed by B.A., History in 1977. With the shedding off P.U.C. from the College, the undergraduate courses were strengthened by adding B.Sc., Chemistry in 1979,B.Sc., Mathematics in 1980 and B.Sc., Physics in 1987.The College entered the Post Graduate phase of development with the introduction of M.Com., in 1982 and M.A., History in 1983. Certificate Course in Gandhian Thought and Salesmanship were started in 1988. The following Self-financing Courses are also offered. M.Phil (History) course was introduced in 1989. B.Sc. (Computer Science) from the year 1993, B.Com (Self- finance) from the year 1994, P.G.D.C.A. Course from 1994, M.Sc., Computer Science from 2000, B.Com. (Computer Application) from 2001. M.Phil (Commerce) from 2003, B.B.A from 2005, Ph.D. Research Centre in History was introduced in 2007.

The Department of Physical Education regularly organizes various intramural competitions, State Level Inter Collegiate Tournaments and various Inter Campus Tournaments are also organized year-round.
Hostel
Our college providing excellent hostel facilities for students with a homely atmosphere and spacious buildings with a Mess having a centralized kitchen.
