Donation Process In 4 Easy Steps
The donation process from the time you arrive at the center until the time you leave.
Registration
You will complete a simple registration form with your personal details. Remember to bring your picture ID for easy identification.

Screening
Our nurses will take you through a brief medical check so that you or the person who receives your blood are not negatively affected after donation.

Donation
Once you are found fit, you will be directed to our comfortable donor bed to give blood. This usually takes between 10-15 minutes.

Resting & Refreshment
When you are done giving the blood, our staff will take care of you to make sure you are safe to go back to normal life. You will also receive a slight refreshment as you rest.

Someone needs your blood type

A
blood can be given to patients with blood types A and AB, and blood group A patients can receive types A and O blood.
However, anybody with any of the blood types can always give blood.
A-

B+

Group
B
blood can be given to patients with blood types B and AB, and blood group B patients can receive types B and O blood.
However, no matter your blood type, you can always give blood.
B-

AB
blood can be given to patients with blood type AB but blood group AB patients can receive any blood type.
Irrespective of your blood type, you can always give blood.
AB-

blood can be given to patients with all blood types but blood group O patients can only receive type O blood.
Meanwhile, anybody with any of the blood types can always give blood.
O-

No matter your blood type, your blood is always needed to save someone's life. After you donate, you get to know your blood type, which becomes helpful in times of emergency.
