The Story of the Johannesburg Station Panels by JH Pierneef
Artist JH Pierneef’s (1886-1957) most acclaimed public commission was completed between 1929 and 1932. The Johannesburg Station Panels have been characterised as the epitome of the South African landscape genre. The rehang of the Johannesburg Station Panels, now open for viewing, brings various opinions and theories to the fore.

Artist Spotlight series – Dr Marion Arnold (b1947)
The collection comprises over 400 artists, and the Artist Spotlight series will highlight a select few in 2026, while incorporating archival materials and finds for viewers' enjoyment.
