The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) works in genuine partnership to enable the self-determination and aspirations of First Nations communities.
We implement the Australian Governments’ priorities and support the Minister for Indigenous Australians.
Closing the Gap
Governments and Indigenous Australians working together to close the gap and achieve life outcomes equal to all Australians.
Culture and Empowering Communities
Strengthening of Indigenous cultural expression and conservation and working with communities to set priorities and greater influence over decisions that affect them.
