View the City's privacy statement News City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Patriots’ Day Holiday Monday, April 20 In observance of the Patriots’ Day holiday on Monday, April 20, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed, and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and pay stations. Curbside collection of trash, recycling, food waste, and yard waste will be suspended on the holiday and one day behind for the remainder of the week. There will be no street cleaning on the Patriots’ Day holiday. Streets that would normally be cleaned on April 20 (third Monday of the month) will instead be cleaned on Wednesday, April 29.
