🌟 AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟
Meet Joe Buscarnera 👋 He is the Watershed Ambassador for Watershed Management Area 18, serving the Lower Delaware Watersheds. Joe is hosted by Palmyra Cove Nature Park and the Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority💧
💬 What does being a Watershed Ambassador & AmeriCorps member mean to Joe?
"To me being a Watershed Ambassador means not only being a steward to the environment in your community but educating others on how they can do same for theirs. Being an AmeriCorps member is all about being a good Samaritan, putting in the effort to help others."
🌱 Biggest achievement so far?
"Completing a beach cleanup despite getting locked out of my host agency with all of my supplies."
⭐ Favorite memory?
“Seeing a pair of box turtles on a hike near Mason's Run.”
🌸 What’s Joe most excited for?
"I am looking forward to all of the different people I will be meeting within the industry as well as all the new skills I will acquire."
💡 Why did Joe apply to NJWAP?
"After I graduated from Rutgers in 2025 I was looking for a position to help expand my ecological skillset and to meet new people to learn more about the environmental field."

✔️ Support schools & community groups
✔️ Host cleanups, workshops, and plantings
