State now accepting 2025 income tax returns
DENVER, Tuesday, January 27, 2026 — Taxpayers can now file income tax returns for 2025. The Colorado Department of Revenue, Taxation Division, offers tips to simplify the process and help Coloradans receive refunds quickly. The filing deadline for tax year 2025 is April 15, 2026. An automatic six-month filing extension is available if payment obligations are satisfied by April 15.

Colorado DMV Completes Major Digital Upgrade
DENVER, Tuesday, February 17 — The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is pleased to announce that its major digital transformation is complete. As of today, the myDMV online services and CO MV Express kiosks are fully operational and running on a brand-new, modernized platform, with in-person appointments at state DMV offices set to resume tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 18.

2026 Responsible Gaming Grants Awarded, Totaling $3.7 million dollars
On February 19, the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission awarded $3,783,954.50 in 2026 Responsible Gaming Grants. This grant cycle marks the fourth round of Responsible Gaming Grants since the passage of House Bill 22-1402. Since 2023, the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission has awarded more than $10 million in Responsible Gaming Grants.
