Welcome To
Sanatan Dharma College
Our College is a unique educational institution of North India and holds a pre-eminent position in the glorious past of this region. In 1916 the institution was set up in Lahore, under the dynamic leadership of Bharat Ratna Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya Ji, the backbone of Sanatan Dharma. After the partition of the country, the college was re-established in Ambala and the foundation stone of the building was laid by none other than India’s first President Dr. Rajender Prasad on 3 October 1951.
Since then the college has witnessed the passage of great men and women through its portals. Eminent Statesmen like Dr. N N Vohra, Former Governor, J & K; Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Former Minister of External Affairs; Sh Anil Vij, Cabinet Minister, Government of Haryana; Nobel Laureate and Nuclear Physicist, Dr. Abdus Salam; Numerous Doctors, Engineers and Academicians are a product of this institution which has withheld its traditional past while embracing the ideas of the Technological world.

The Students have brought great honour to the institution through their remarkable achievements at the 39th AIU National Youth Festival, held from 10–14 March 2026 at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.

Annual Convocation of session 2025-26 is going to be held on 25 March, 2026
Hackathon-2026
Department of Computer Science & Electronics & IT in collaboration with IIC are organizing Hackathon-2026 on 12th march 2026.
Result of 46th Interzonal Youth Festival
College has won the Overall Runners-Up Trophy at the 46th Inter-Zonal Youth Festival held at Arya (P.G.) College, Panipat, from 6-8 November 2025. Also, got Runners-Up Trophy of Fine Arts, Music and Literary Items.
Winning the Overall Trophy for 47th time
College has won the Overall Trophy for 47th time at the 48th Zonal Youth Festival. Also, got 20 items recommended, 13 commended and 04 2nd commended out of 42 participated items.
Orientation Programme
Orientation Programme for First year students for 2025-2026 will be held on July 23, 2025. It is compulsory to attend the same.

The most cardinal reason for me to write is to thank to all the dignitaries who are presently and will always be the part of Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt. The first person for whom I want to write on the behalf is none other than our principal sir, Dr. Rajinder Singh. As a Principal he has proved himself to be owe of the important man behind the success, development and good reputation. So for what he has done or will do will always be appreciated.
