Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs
The Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs manages and overseas DOE's liaison with Congress, state and local government officials, and territorial and Tribal governments. The Office also oversees DOE's engagement with environmental, industrial, business and consumer stakeholders.

The Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs is dedicated to its mission of providing guidance on legislative and policy issues, informing constituencies on energy matters, and serving as a liaison between the Department, Congress, State, local, and Tribal governments, as well as other Federal agencies and public interest groups representing consumers/citizens organizations, business/industries, civic groups, educational organizations and institutions, and all other energy-oriented stakeholder organizations.
