What do Arkansas gravestones tell us about the living? ✨

Join us for a Not Strictly History session with author Abby Burnett. We’re diving into her new book, Though Silent They Speak, to explore the stories behind the state’s most unusual burial grounds—from hidden rural carvings to the monuments of our city centers.

Whether it’s a graveyard on the grounds of a former internment camp or private tombs in public spaces, these sites hold our history.

With the @uarkansas Fine Arts Center reopening its doors, we’re revisiting its early years. This undated postcard captures a quartet performing for students in the iconic space designed by local legend Edward Durell Stone.
