Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution
The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) aims to promote the
importance and usage of Alternative Dispute Resolution to professionals both
legal and non-legal, governmental and non-governmental organisations, the
society at large an in particular to the people in and around TNNLU by
collaborating with governmental and non-governmental organisations and
promoting research and writing activities.
Centre for Business and Human Rights
The (CBHR) centre for business and human rights will focus on the nexus between business agenda and protection of human rights. The centre will take up the most contemporary pressing issues on the intersection of business and human rights for instance like the core business practices that affects workers/gender/consumers/environment etc.
Centre for Competition Law (CCL)
TNNLU was selected by the Competition Commission of India (CCI), New Delhi under the
CCI (Competition Assessment of Economic Legislations and Policies) Guidelines, 2017 to act as
an Empanelled Institution (EI) for the purposes of carrying out Competition Assessment (CA)
exercise of legislations, bills and policies from the domain of economics and other subject areas.
Centre for Investment Laws
The ‘Centre for Investment Laws’ was established as a university-level research
centre in 2021, by the Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) in response to
the growing need for investment laws through leadership and capacity building in
India and particularly the State of Tamilnadu.
Centre for Labour and Development Studies
The Centre for Labour and
Development Studies has been set up
to promote interdisciplinary research
and further legal awareness about the
rights of workers engaged in both the
organised and unorganised sectors. The
Centre aspires to use an
interdisciplinary lens in approaching
different aspects of labour law
regulation and governance by
conceptualising contemporary issues

Centre for Law and Agriculture
The Law and Agriculture Centre at Tamil Nadu National Law University aims to initiate, undertake, and inspire quality legal research to protect the rights of people associated with agriculture and to improve the quality and productivity in the agriculture sector.
Centre for Research & Writing (CRW)
The TNNLU Centre for Research & Writing (CRW) was inaugurated on February 5, 2018by Hon’ble Justice Rajiv Shakdher, High Court of Delhi; Hon’ble Justice T S Sivagnanam, High Court of Madras; Mr. PH Arvindh Pandian, Additional Advocate General, Tamil Nadu; and Mr. Manoj Pandey, Legal Adviser, Competition Commission of India.
Centre for Research, Development, and Training in Cyber Laws and Cyber Security
The Centre for Research, Development, and Training in Cyber Laws and Cyber Security (CRDT-CLCS) of TNNLU comprises a dedicated team of research assistants and Volunteers guided by the faculty in charge.

Centre for Studies in Environmental and Natural Resources Law
Environment and natural resources play a vital role in healthy and sustainable livelihood between generations on Mother Earth. The human interaction with natural resources for their overall development has led to ever-increasing quantities of degradation of resources at local, national, regional and international levels. All the environmental impacts are severely affecting human-related economic, social and cultural activities between generations. Various international environmental instruments provide the right to a clean and healthy environment as a fundamental human right to all.
Centre For Study & Advocacy of Human Rights
The Centre for Study and Advocacy of Human Rights has been established in the year 2021 to
undertake and publish interdisciplinary research studies in the area of human rights (concept,
law and enforcement), besides taking steps to spread human rights literacy among the needy
and to promote human rights advocacy culture in the students.
Centre for Study in Victimology
The Centre for Study in Victimology at Tamil Nadu National Law University, has been set up in the Year 2021 under the guidenceship of Hon’ble Vice -Chancellor Professor, Dr.V.S.Elizabeth with the aim to contribute towards the interdisciplinary research in the field of Victimology and Victim Justice.

The Centre is the brainchild of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) V.S. Elizabeth who is a Professor History and has teaching experience of nearly 40 years.

The Centre was established in March 2020. The Centre is the brainchild of the Vice Chancellor,Prof. V.S. Elizabeth, who is an expert in feminist jurisprudence and has a great concern regarding issues related to women.
