HOW DO I
Where the deceased died intestate (without a Will) leaving minor children, the death must be reported to the Administrator-General.
A will must be in writing, whether handwritten, typewritten or computer generated. Great care must be exercised by the testator.
An individual who asserts an interest in an intestate estate is required to establish the basis upon which he or she claims to benefit.
The introduction of the new Civil Procedure Rules, 2002 mandated the requirement that all applications being made for a Grant of Letters of.
Where a person dies intestate leaving cash assets held with an institution and these funds are needed for burial,the Administrator-General upon request.

Stacie-Ann N. Carty is a pragmatic Attorney-at-Law with a wealth of experience in trust and estate administration, creation and management of trusts, conveyancing, corporate and commercial law, pension fund management and administration as well as litigation.
Mr. Patrick Wright
Finance & Planning Executive
Mr. Patrick Wright joined the Administrator-General’s Department in 2000 as Trust Accounting Manager. He assumed the position of Finance and Asset Management Executive in 2008. A graduate of the University of the West Indies, he has a Master of Science Degree in Accounting.
