The bright red roofs of the Lage brickworks, surrounded by meadows and fields, can be seen from afar. Smoke rose from the tall chimney for over 70 years. Millions of bricks were produced in the former family business in Lippe. The historic facilities have been completely preserved. Immerse yourself in a world of hard work, visit entrepreneur Gustav Beermann in his villa, get to know a working-class family in their cottage, stroll through the vegetable garden, and tread clay with your feet to make your own handmade bricks. The production days at the machine brickworks and the firing are highlights in the annual calendar.
