Our passionate team of volunteers have been busy over the Winter refreshing some of our displays and exhibits, or creating some fantastic new displays for our 2026 season.

Kingswood Heritage Museum
The museum is located on the site of William Champion’s 18
th
Century brass works at Warmley, South Gloucestershire. This site represents an important milestone in industrial history, for it was here that Champion developed the first commercial production of zinc in Europe.
Kingswood Heritage Museum is the largest independent Museum in South Gloucestershire.
Educational exhibits
The Museum celebrates the rich industrial and social heritage of Kingswood and the surrounding areas of South Gloucestershire.
The Museum holds a wealth of artifacts and information all displayed in sympathetic and interesting exhibits throughout the museum to make an enjoyable visit for all of the family.
Visiting
us
As well as all our exhibition rooms the Museum has a café with a range of drinks, cakes and other light refreshments available, and a well stocked bookshop selling a range of local history books
The Museum is managed and run solely by a dedicated team of volunteers and the Museum has been awarded
The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
Housed within the main building, this Museum for Kingswood holds a variety of enjoyable displays of local industries and social history of the area for all the family.
Kingswood Heritage Museum can accommodate standard (non-motorised) wheelchairs and our staff are always on hand to assist. Our toilets are wheelchair accessible. It is advisable to telephone prior to your visit for further information or if you have a specific query.
