Roadmap for a promising future of Rwanda
1st July 2021, on the 59th anniversary of Rwanda’s independence, the leaders of the political opposition based in Rwanda have chosen to officially announce the “Roadmap” for a promising future of Rwanda to reaffirm Rwanda’s Independence Day; this day should be a day to think about how Rwanda could be built by Rwandans if they are united.

We are Rwandans who are determined to champion for effective application of principles of democracy and respect for human rights in Rwanda. We want to promote sustainable development, tackle social inequalities and promote social equity. We are convinced that there can be no sustainable development without democracy and respect for human rights.

Fair and satisfactory remuneration and wages to ensure that workers and their families have a standard of living fit for human dignity
Home improvement for all
Housing development programs that take into account different income levels and the solvency of different social categories of citizens
Economic Decentralisation
Small and medium projects and other improvements designed to boost economic growth must be distributed in all areas of the country
Safety and security for all
Respect for human rights and the guarantee of the right to protection and security through education of citizen and training to security services
Distributed infrastructure
Basic infrastructure such as bridges and roads, electricity, water, schools and hospitals must be developed in all regions of the country
