“Welcome to Hanwood Public School.
At Hanwood, we have created a supportive environment for every child to learn, grow and thrive.
Our school is situated on Wiradjuri land in the Riverina, just five kilometres from Griffith in rural NSW. Hanwood Public School has proudly been providing a quality public education since 1913.
Hanwood is a wonderful school setting, with spacious grounds, a wonderful playground and well-resourced classrooms.
We have quality teachers across the school, who ensure all students are accessing up to date and innovative teaching and learning programs, allowing the students to achieve their potential. We’re proud of our dedicated staff and our strong partnerships with families and the Hanwood community. Together, we ensure students feel valued and inspired to learn.
