Who are we?
Kathmandu Living Labs (KLL) is a pioneer civic-tech enterprise that provides data and technology solutions to businesses, governments, development partners, and civil society.
KLL was established to challenge the status quo of the knowledge production paradigm, in which a vast majority are excluded. It works on a bottom-top approach while aiming to bridge the knowledge production gap, bring the voices and needs from the ground and resolve pressing issues using technological innovation and deep immersion in communities.
So far, we have touched the lives of thousands of people across the globe through open mapping, disaster response, civic engagement, internships, skill-building, and community-based projects.
Our team is a diverse mix of experts in areas of technology, civil society, social science, and finance, passionate about improving the society we live in through technology.
