It is with immense pride and gratitude that I serve as the principal of a school with a rich legacy, vibrant culture, and a community rooted in resilience, pride, and potential. I am Dr. Le Andrea Ware, and I am both honored and humbled to welcome you to this extraordinary school community.
With over 30 years of experience in public education, from the classroom to district leadership, my journey has always been guided by a belief in the brilliance of every child and the transformative power of education. Since stepping into leadership at The Howard School, I have been committed to creating a school environment that not only addresses the unique needs of our students, but also empowers them to rise above circumstances and embrace their full potential.
Under our collective efforts, The Howard School has been recognized by the state of Tennessee for exceptional student growth, innovative turnaround strategies, and a school culture that celebrates diversity, equity, and excellence. Our students are more than test scores, they are future leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and change agents.
We continue to invest in non-traditional and purpose-driven programming that meets students where they are and prepares them for where they’re going.
