WELCOME TO Z.V.M. UNANI MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL- PUNE (MAHARASHTRA)
The Maharashtra Medical Education & Research Center, Pune, envisioned the need to enhance educational opportunities for the minority community and took a pioneering step by establishing the Z.V.M. Unani Medical College & Hospital in 1984. With a firm commitment to excellence in healthcare education, the institution has grown into a center of academic distinction and compassionate clinical service. The college is duly approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi, and is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. It maintains academic affiliations with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and the University of Pune, ensuring a robust and comprehensive medical curriculum. Over the decades, Z.V.M. Unani Medical College & Hospital has been dedicated to nurturing competent healthcare professionals grounded in the Unani tradition, while embracing modern standards of education, research, and community service.
