On 11/11/1894, near the Nile, in a vast and deserted space, a group of people gathered around a new building whose dimensions confer an elegance and a very special beauty
It is in this setting, at this time that was inaugurated what will become the school of Franciscan Nuns Kasr El Nil
One of the unforgettable figures is Sister Marie Alphonsine, first provincial, woman of will and courage, she showed strength, firmness and patience also was – she was animated by an unshakeable faith
At the request of the parents, and given the increasing number of registrations, it was essential to build a new building. A new floor was built in 1903 and accommodated 130 students. On the other hand, the maternal cycle, for boys, received 30 children. See more
