Academics
What does a
9
-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio
really mean at a private school? At Holland Hall it means a teacher and an assistant in every Primary School classroom to ensure every child’s needs are met. Upper and Middle School classrooms where meaningful discussions foster critical thinking skills. Faculty who truly know their students — becoming mentors and building relationships that last long after high school ends. Innovative scheduling that allows students to intensely pursue disciplines, with many doubling up on math, foreign languages, history, art, or science courses.
Primary School
Building strong early skills in a nuturing, warm atmosphere, starting at 3 years old.
Middle School
A challenging and supportive  environment for the critical 4th-8th grade years.
Upper School
Ensuring 9th-12th grade students find their talents to succeed in college and beyond.

Arts
Art classes
aren’t electives at Holland Hall. They’re a vital component of the curriculum. Beginning in the youngest years — with students taking daily art and music classes — the arts are ingrained into the school day. From theater and jazz band to ceramics and drawing, the classes give students
a vehicle for self-expression and building emotional maturity.
The Walter Arts Center
serves as the hub for most of the arts classes on campus. With painting- and sculpture-filled hallways, theaters, studios, and practice rooms, it’s truly a magical place to be.

Classes in Primary School and early Middle School allow for exploration of many different mediums
Athletics
Holland Hall’s
State championship-winning programs
— football, field hockey, soccer, basketball, and more — only tell part of Holland Hall’s athletic story. Daily PE classes expose students to a wide
range of activities, helping them explore hidden interests and discover lifelong passions. And small
class sizes mean every student can find a place on a team — whether it’s as a goalie, a linebacker, a forward, a manager, or a sports video photographer. Alternative sports allow students to create their own athletic journey, with many students excelling in equestrian sports, swimming, gymnastics, and martial arts.

A Private School Community Where Everyone Belongs
Every student can find their place at Holland Hall. Leadership skills and friendships are built in a variety of clubs — from the traditional speech and debate to one run by “sneakerheads.” And the vital skills are built in advisory groups, s
tudent council, and in philanthropic efforts. As an Episcopal private school,
Holland Hall is more than great academic, athletic, or art programs. It’s helping students find out who they really are, and making them feel like they belong.
