About Us
History of the College
Sometimes in the mid 70's the then Federal Government gave a directive to the effect that all state Governments in Nigeria should establish at least, a school of Health technology in their respective slates. In line with this directive, the Kwara State Government Established in 1976, the Kwara State school of Health technology, Offa.
In accordance with the directive mentioned above, the main objectives of the school are to:
Train students of different cadres in Health profession;
Retrain and re-orient the existing Health personnel;
Carry out research in different fields of health care;

Objectives
To provide course of instruction, training and other facilities in health and make these facilities available on proper terms lo such persons as are eligible to benefit from them.
To encourage and promote scholarship and conduct research in all fields of learning and human endeavour, particularly in the health sciences.
To relate its activities to the social, Cultural, Economic and manpower needs of the people of Kwara State, Nigeria and the World at large.
To provide such other activities appropriate for a College of the highest standard and such other course of instruction as are approved by the governing council of the College of which will serve to promote the objectives of the College.
