Cancer (Oncology)

Diagnostic Radiology

Infectious Diseases
Emory University Hospital treated the first Ebola patients in the U.S. in 2014. Since then, our Serious Communicable Diseases Unit (SCDU) has become an international resource for treating patients with Ebola and other special pathogens.
Neurosciences
Emory is a leader in treating aneurysms, brain tumors and movement disorders. We were the first hospital in the country to offer microelectrode-guided pallidotomy. This precise surgical procedure treats Parkinson's disease.

To access the main hospital radiology, park in either the lowergate east or lowergate west parking decks and take the bridge to the main hospital.
Radiology is located on the 1st floor of the building. If you are coming from the bridge, you will enter on the 2nd floor and will need to take an elevator down to the 1st floor.
Transplantation
Emory University Hospital is the only multiple organ transplant center in Georgia. Since performing the first corneal transplant in 1947, we’ve been a transplant pioneer. We’re a preferred transplant center for many insurance carriers and a Medicare-approved center.
Each year, our specialists perform more than 650 solid organ transplants annually, ranking us in the top 10 for transplant volumes nationally. This includes the heart, lung, liver, pancreas, kidney and kidney/pancreas. We also do combination transplants: heart/lung, heart/kidney and liver/kidney.
