Goulburn Public School is the oldest school in Goulburn, opened in 1868 by the NSW Department of Education. Set in beautiful grounds with historic buildings, the school has a proud history of working with the community to help every student succeed. It offers a wide range of learning opportunities in a friendly and supportive environment, where students are encouraged to do their best and enjoy learning.
The school focuses on meeting the needs of all students through quality teaching, use of technology, strong sports programs, and rich cultural experiences. Staff work closely with families and community groups to create a caring and positive place to learn. With programs in academics, sport, dance, music, and public speaking, Goulburn Public School helps students grow in all areas—living out the school’s motto:
