It's not time to slow down.
It's time to build on our state's momentum.
Right now, our state has momentum. We’ve built the country’s strongest economy. More South Australians have jobs than ever before. But it’s more than numbers. You can feel the energy. We’re being noticed. And now, together, we have the opportunity to turn this momentum into lasting progress, and a better future for all South Australians.

This is something we all knew. But now it's official.

The Adelaide Central Market has been ranked as one of the best food markets anywhere in the world.

Coming in third on the top 20 global list, the Market showcases the very best food, wine and produce to millions of visitors each year.

And now, it's recognised on the global stage.

Tonight, landmarks across our state are lit in purple.

A tribute marking 100 years since the birth of Queen Elizabeth II - a century that shaped an era.

From moments of change to decades of service, her legacy continues to be felt across generations.

170 years ago, South Australia's first public railway line began operation.

This was the first public train that ran from Adelaide to Port Adelaide - the first government-owned and operated steam railway in the British Empire.

It was a system that was publicly run for South Australians - until a former Government privatised the network.

We believe public transport is an essential service. It should serve people - not for profit.

And it's why we brought the trains back into public hands.

Where they belong.

The site for the Women's and Children's Hospital won't be sold off for apartments.

Instead, we'll transform it into this when it moves to the new site - a dedicated Health and Aged Care Precinct.

It'll have more than 600 aged care beds for older South Australians.

And is part of our plan for an extra 1,300 aged care beds.
