Zlatarski International School, Sofia
is the largest and most experienced International Baccalaureate (IB) School in Bulgaria, authorised as
the first IB WORLD SCHOOL
in the country in 2003. The School celebrates 30 years since its foundation.
Established in 1995 as an English language secondary school, the School is
accredited by the Ministry of Education, International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and Cambridge International Education.
The School educates Bulgarian and international students aged 11-18 years old in the national programme and the international programmes Cambridge Secondary (5-7 grade), Checkpoint (8 grade), IGCSE (9 -10 grade) and IB Diploma Programme (11-12 grade).
Our graduates achieve outstanding IGCSE, IB and matura exam results and they gain places at
the world’s most selective universities and programmes
in the UK, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the US, Switzerland and beyond.

Lower Secondary School: (Grades 5-7):
national programme, enriched by the Cambridge Lower Secondary programme
Middle School: (Grades 8-10):
national programme, enriched by the Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE programme
Upper Secondary School: (Grades 11-12):
IB Diploma programme and/or the national programme
International students in Grades 5-12
can choose to follow only the international pathway
