Rutgers Provides Hope for Navigating a Life Beyond Bars
Rutgers Behavioral Health Care's Intensive Recovery Treatment Support (IRTS) program was launched in January 2018 in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Corrections and Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. The program pairs the peer health navigators with current inmates who have a history of opioid abuse. Six months before the prisoners’ release, they form a bond and develop a plan to help them re-enter society and stay clean and sober.

VETS4WARRIORS Continues to Connect with Veterans across America
Are you interested in supporting America’s veterans and their families?  A donation to Vets4Warriors, a national 24/7 confidential peer support program, will allow more veterans to be hired and trained to do this all important work around the clock and help more veterans service members and their families.  Since December 2011 Vets4Warriors has been answering calls live, yes live, within 30 seconds.  It is vital that anyone reaching out does not feel alone or loses hope.  Once someone contacts Vets4Warriors a peer (veteran) follows up on a regular basis to work together on the challenges impacting a callers well-being.  Our goal is to connect early on before issues and circumstances reach a point of crisis.
Donate today by visiting our website at
