Overview
Baptist Hospital Banyo (BHB) is the first Baptist hospital in the Adamawa region of Cameroon. Established in 1999 as an Integrated Health Center, it was later upgraded to a hospital in 2006. Since its inception, BHB has been dedicated to providing quality healthcare services to the people of the region.
As of September 2024, the hospital employs over 80 medical professionals who work around the clock to meet the healthcare needs of the community. BHB plays a crucial role in the region’s healthcare system, offering a wide range of medical services and ensuring accessibility to quality care.
In addition to its core operations, BHB oversees four Integrated Baptist Health Centers located in Tibati, Allat, Nyamboya, and Sarkabaka. Furthermore, the hospital manages four Primary Health Care Centers (PHCs) situated in Bamti, Mbah, Mbeguedje, and Kuata, further extending its reach and impact in the region.
BHB serves numerous villages and towns, including Bonhari, Kanyaka, Hore Taram, Boujunkura, Sambolabo, Ndipele, Mbah, Mbamtijumbare, Bamti Alareba, Bamti Katako, and many others in and around Banyo. Through its extensive network of healthcare facilities, Baptist Hospital Banyo remains committed to improving health outcomes and enhancing the well-being of communities across the Adamawa region.
