Principal's message
"Our motto, 'Strive and Succeed', continues to capture the atmosphere of our beautiful school. We are a learning community located in Wiradyuri Country, where students have opportunities to develop academically and socially through leadership, creative arts and sport. Temora West is an inclusive school of eight classes, including two Multi-Categorical (MC) support classes.
Our core business is the teaching of literacy and numeracy, with our school community having high expectations for student achievement. We are focused on providing explicit and innovative teaching to encourage learning for all students. Our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) program teaches students to be respectful, responsible learners who are honest and show empathy for each other.”

A connected school community
Our school is a place where the community belongs and we regularly invite our parents, carers and extended families into the school to share in each students’ learning journey. We receive tremendous support from our P&C, who work closely with our SRC and executive teams.
Extensive learning and support programs
With a mix of mainstream and support classes, our school caters for learning at every level. Students are supported to ‘strive and succeed’ in their learning with an increasing focus upon High Potential & Gifted Education.
A beautiful, native bushland environment
Our school is located on the western edge of town and features expansive grassed areas, well established native gardens and modern playground facilities. ‘The Forest’ is in the centre of all this beauty and serves as a habitat for the endangered Superb Parrot.
