A ROSIE PLACE
An Exceptional And Incomparable
Specialty Licensed Hospital
A Rosie Place for Children is Indiana‘s only licensed, not-for-profit, specialty hospital dedicated exclusively to serving the growing number of families with children who are medically fragile. Children who are medically fragile require a skilled level of care to meet their everyday needs. A Rosie Place serves all 92 Indiana counties. Situated on five beautiful acres in South Bend, Indiana, our home is warm, spacious, and colorful featuring nature-inspired themes. A Rosie Place for Children is a home away from home where there are special activities for each child and relationships are built.
Why We're So Vital
For Families
Children who are medically fragile come to A Rosie Place for up to 10 nights at a time for respite stays. During this time, parents are given the gift of time to go on a date night, experience fun activities with their healthy children or enjoy much needed rest. We also host special events throughout the year, families (parents, fragile children, and siblings) are given opportunities to connect with others in a supportive environment and central location.

Give a Gift That Lives On
We’re inviting our community to
sponsor a ceiling tile for HeARTworks Studio
, a first-of-its-kind creative space designed specifically for medically fragile children. Each tile becomes a canvas for one child’s imagination — painted with joy, personality, and possibility — and displayed forever in a place where creativity knows no limits.
When you sponsor a ceiling tile, you’re not just giving a donation.
You’re giving a child the chance to express themselves, to be seen, and to leave their mark on a space built just for them.

Luke Combs
HQ for choosing A Rosie Place for Children as the recipient of the dollars raised during the Packs with Purpose event🩷
On Saturday, he shared with our CEO & Founder, Tieal Bishop, "We were so glad to be able to help the children, it's amazing what you all do there." ✨
We don't have the final total yet, but we know it's over $150,000! $150,000 raised to create a world of YES for medically fragile children and their families.
That's more than 200 sleepovers provided for children at no cost to families! We are in awe and overcome with gratitude.

When families need trusted care, they find so much more than respite here. They find skilled pediatric nurses, community, and rest!💛
Here, every moment is an opportunity to create joy, connection, and healing. Our overnight respite care goes beyond clinical excellence; it’s about nurturing the whole child in a space that feels like home.
When children come over for sleepovers at A Rosie Place for Children, caregivers can rest, recharge, or care for other children, knowing their child with medical complexities is safe and loved.
This is what creating a world of YES looks like.
