STUDENT TESTIMONIALS
Switching schools to Campion was the best decision I made in adolescence. Before going, I was confused, didn’t know what I liked, and was a bad student. Campion gave me the space and motivation to figure out who I truly wanted to be. The high-quality teachers and friendly environment also allowed me to become a great student.
Minos Zombanakis
GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY
After successfully completing the IB diploma, I was at a significant advantage over my university peers with other high school certificates. The IB equipped me with the skillset of an independent thinker, instilling the importance of academic writing and critical thinking in me, something which has enabled me to succeed in the practical and written components of my ongoing course.
Ariadni Kakara
Glasgow School of Art
Campion’s theatrical productions as well as the numerous CAS activities offered boosted
my confidence, while at the same time allowing me to take on leadership roles which
proved beneficial during university group projects and presentations.

Before making your decision about attending Campion School, I would recommend taking a walk along the halls of the upper floor. As you observe the artwork, projects, examination results and pictures, you'll quickly sense the essence of Campion School - a place full of creativity, warmth, and a love for learning and excelling.

Why Campion School?
For 55 years, Campion School has provided exceptional international education in Athens, Greece. Our commitment to academic excellence, character development, and appreciation for Greek culture makes us a top choice for families seeking a nurturing and stimulating learning environment in the accessible suburb of Pallini.
Why Choose Campion?
Academic Excellence:
We consistently achieve high results in IGCSE and IB examinations (36 average in 2024), paving the way for our graduates to gain
placements at prestigious universities in the UK, EU, and North America.
Our dedicated, well-qualified teaching staff, recruited from respected universities worldwide, participate in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest quality instruction. Small class sizes (approximately 20 students, and even smaller in the IB Diploma Programme) allow for personalised attention and maximize student potential.
Nurturing Community:
Campion fosters a friendly and caring atmosphere where students thrive. Founded in 1970 by Philhellenes Thomas and Betsy Shortell, our school is built on strong moral values, encouraging students to develop their character and become responsible global citizens.
A Rich Educational Experience:
Beyond academics, students can explore their passions through a diverse array of extra-curricular activities, including sports, drama, MUN, forensics and music.
Ideal Location and Facilities:
Our green and secure campus in Pallini provides an ideal setting for learning and growth. The easily accessible location in northeast Attica ensures a convenient commute for families.
Our Founding Aims:
Campion’s mission is rooted in three core principles:
To provide academic excellence for the English-speaking community in Athens.
To cultivate a wholesome, values-based environment that nurtures character development and responsible citizenship.
To foster an understanding and appreciation for Greek culture and ideals.
With approximately 700 students and a balanced two-form entry in Junior School and three teaching groups in Senior School, Campion offers a close-knit community feel while providing a world-class education. We invite you to discover the Campion difference.
