Working Together
One of our fundamental aims is to produce mature, confident yet grounded young men who aim for personal success while supporting those around them.
A key aspect of community partnerships is the benefit that can be gained from engagement and collaboration between pupils. Through different schemes, including peer mentoring and team-based initiatives, all involved learn new skills and develop in confidence.

Hampton Togetherness
Hampton is a welcoming and diverse community and life-changing bursaries are at the heart of our ethos. Our pupils come from a large number of different feeder schools and a wide variety of backgrounds.
There are currently 96 pupils in the School on completely Free Places, a number of which are funded by
The Fitzwygram Foundation
, and many more receive financial help with fees known as bursaries. The Fitzwygram Foundation is our dedicated charity which was set up in 2018, with the aim of providing free places to boys who would flourish here but whose families could not otherwise afford a Hampton education.
A sense of mutual support and camaraderie is a defining feature of Hampton life. Kindness is very important and can be found at the heart of our community. Our boys support those around them and celebrate each other’s achievements.

Once a Hamptonian, always a Hamptonian
No one is funnelled down a particular route at Hampton – boys are encouraged and supported to discover their own interests and nurture their passions. As a result Hamptonians pursue a wide range of vibrant and fulfilling careers.
Hamptonians’ understated, grounded and well-balanced attitude produces lifelong friendships between them and also enables our boys to go out into the world beyond Hampton to lead and serve with passion, empathy and imagination across a wide range of fields.
We are delighted that many of our old boys stay in touch, providing advice and guidance to our current pupils. Hamptonians derive life-long benefits from a thriving, global network of alumni covering all professions and careers.
