Continuing Our Commitment to Safer, Higher-Quality Care
We’re proud to share that Harbor Regional Health has successfully renewed our national accreditation through DNV—an achievement made possible by the skill, dedication, and daily commitment of our entire team. This recognition reflects not only our systems and standards, but the people behind them who work every day to deliver safe, high-quality care to our community.
DNV’s NIAHO-Acute accreditation, specifically designed for acute care hospitals, evaluates both clinical care and hospital operations against rigorous federal and international standards. Unlike other accreditors, DNV conducts annual surveys throughout a 3-year accreditation cycle—promoting continuous improvement and year-round readiness.
Acute hospital accreditation is broader and more complex than accreditation for Critical Access Hospitals, reflecting the wider range of services we provide, including surgery, labor & delivery, and critical care.
This renewal confirms that Harbor Regional Health continues to meet—and exceed—the highest standards for hospitals of our size and scope.

We Love Our Beautiful Community
The DAISY Award is an international recognition program started in memory of J. Patrick Barnes. Pat’s family experienced first-hand the difference his nurses made in his care through clinical excellence and outstanding compassionate care. The family created The DAISY Award to express gratitude to nurses and to enable other patients, families, and staff to thank and honor their special nurses. The award is available to RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Practitioners caring for patients in any HRH facility.
To Heal, Comfort, and Serve Everyone with Dignity and Compassion.
We are a mission-driven organization dedicated to taking care of the health needs of communities across the Harbor. The health of our community is our number one priority.
From Grayland to Lake Quinault, from Ocean Shores to Montesano, we are here when you need us.
