Early Education & Kindergarten
The Monash Early Education Program offers a comprehensive, research-based program for preschool age children from 2.8 to 4.8 years (on 1st Jan in year of enrolment) who are diagnosed with a developmental delay or disability.

STAR/LINKS Program
Since 2017, Monash SDS has been implementating the STAR and Links Program throughout the school.
Structured Teaching
Students begin to work towards their independence from the early years as we introduce them to their individualised schedules to establish structure and predictability within their day.
School-wide Positive Behaviour Support
At Monash Special Developmental School we are committed to SWPBS as it helps create and maintain a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.

Monash Special Developmental School provides exemplary individualised programs to students with a diagnosed intellectual disability and/or multiple disabilities including autism spectrum disorder for students aged 2.8 to 18 years old. Your child must be eligible for funding through the Program for Students with Disabilities (PSD).
Experienced special education teachers deliver high quality programs to promote learning and development in the key areas of communication, social skills, personal independence and academic instruction.
