Located in Patchogue, NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is a 306-bed medical center. The hospital facility is home to the
Knapp Cardiac Care Center
—an advanced heart disease diagnostic and treatment facility—as well as a modern ambulatory surgical pavilion with specialized services including a sleep laboratory and bariatric surgery.
We offer a range of imaging services, including CT scans, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and X-ray.
The
Emergency Department at NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk
is the entry point for our Provisional Level 2
Trauma Center
. The trauma team treats traumatic injuries for adults who have experienced a car accident, fall, or other major injury.
The
Stroke Center at NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk
is designated by the New York State Department of Health as a Primary Stroke Center, with neurologists available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for expert treatment for people experiencing
stroke
symptoms.
Inpatient psychiatric care is also available at the hospital. We provide crisis stabilization, evaluation assessment, medication adjustment, and psychotherapeutic family and patient intervention. The treatment team develops an individualized care plan, which includes discharge planning and a referral for continuing treatment. Our professionals also treat medically complex geriatric or adult patients who have psychiatric and behavioral issues.
In addition to services at the hospital facility, NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk has multiple outpatient sites. These include an outpatient wound care center, a hemodialysis center, and various primary care and specialty offices.
