Welcome to Frankston SDS
Frankston SDS provides a specialised and challenging curriculum to school age students who have moderate to profound intellectual disabilities. We challenge our students to do their best in a supportive and engaging environment. The following values are seen as being central to the life of the school and how all members in the school community should conduct themselves: Sharing, Caring, Respect and Individuality. The school vision statement Learning for life is the focus of all programs conducted at Frankston SDS. Our school is committed to child safety, it it is a requirement that all those working with children have an understanding of our Child Safe Code of Conduct.

Early Education Program
Our EEP program provides a structured pre-school program for students with a moderate to severe intellectual disability. Our specialised program is offered one day per week, allowing young people to attend their regular kindergarten program.

A stimulating, active learning environment in which individual student’s learning needs are catered for and developed as they begin their school journey.

As students continue their school journey they engage with a greater number of staff and peers as they attend differentiated numeracy, literacy and social skills groups.
