OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER
EXPERIENCE THE
GRACE WAY
Grace Lutheran College is, by the grace of God, a Christian community. It aims to continue the preparation of young people for a life of faith and service so that God will be glorified in the world.
One College, two campuses
Grace Lutheran College is one college across two campuses, united in purpose and community while offering unique opportunities at both Rothwell and Caboolture.
Rothwell
Located on the Redcliffe Peninsula, our Rothwell Campus is a co-educational secondary school, catering for students from Year 7 to Year 12.
Caboolture
Our Caboolture Campus, is a close-knit high school community, providing a stable and caring learning environment to students across the Sunshine Coast.
The Grace Way
Grace Lutheran College is one College with two campuses, Rothwell and Caboolture, owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia, Queensland District. A College Council appointed by the Church provides governance, strategic direction and policy for the College.
Grace Lutheran College is a community-based, co-educational secondary school, open to all families who are willing to support our ethos, without discrimination as to class, race or belief. We aim to be inclusive of the diverse range of people who call Australia home.
GRIT
GRIT means perseverance with all tasks from the mundane to the very difficult. When we practice grit we attempt new challenges and complete all tasks to the highest possible standard.
GROWTH
GROWTH means having a growth mindset, a passion for learning and improving oneself. When we practice a growth mindset we confidently try to improve, and tackle new challenges.
GRACE
GRACE means undeserved generosity, first received from God, then freely given to others. When we practice grace we honour and accept others.
Life at Grace Lutheran College
At Grace Lutheran College we believe that each child should be given the opportunity to discover who they are and what they love doing. We know that not everyone is a scholar or good with their hands or on the sports field or dance floor. We do know, however, that everyone is good at something. Our role is to help them uncover this. We encourage them to explore this through education so that their confidence and their capacity to strive towards their ambitions grows.

Googa – Our Outdoor Education Program
Googa is a four week outdoor education program for Year 9 students at Grace. Skills learnt at Googa assist students to grow academically and personally in the final years of school and beyond. The aim of this journey is for the students to hone self-reliance and team work skills, and understand their spiritual path.
Grace Arts Academy
Grace Arts Academy offers a range of high-quality programs in dance, drama and music. Community programs and collaborative partnerships enrich these opportunities by linking students with experts in the field. By promoting a culture of excellence and creativity, Grace Academy nurtures contemporary thinking and problem-solving skills to develop resilient, high-achievers and strong future arts leaders.
Trade Training Centre
At Grace, students can integrate work experience, university study, apprenticeships or Vocational Education and Training (VET) into their high school studies. Some qualifications are offered as school subjects and are offered as part of the students’ timetables. Other are offered off-line or off campus at TAFE or a private provider. Many provide on-the-job training and practical experience.
