Our Mission & Core Values
The Long Island School for the Gifted (LISG) provides an appropriate education for gifted children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, in a nurturing environment where they will be both intellectually challenged and comfortable socially, thereby providing these children with the opportunity to grow and develop to their potential.

Our Journey Through the Years
Since opening in 1980, we have continually evolved to provide an exceptional educational experience for gifted children in South Huntington, NY.
Our long-standing commitment to nurturing intellectual talent has made us a cornerstone of gifted education in the local community.
