Accident & Emergency Department
At Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, our Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department provides emergency services 24/7 to patients in need. Equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment, resuscitation bays, and trauma care units, our experienced team of healthcare professionals works together to deliver expert care. Our facilities include a twin theatre, pharmacy, laboratory, and open wards.

To provide standard emergency services to the residents of Adamawa State and its environs..

To be the best emergency services provider in the Northeast zone and among the top 10 in Nigeria in the nearest future.

- Triage of patients
- Admission of patients
- Resuscitation of patients
- Treatment of all accidents and emergencies, including medical and surgical cases.
Our Patients/Clients
- Adult patients requiring accident and emergency intervention
- Paediatric patients requiring surgical intervention
Service Delivery
- Emergency service is available 24 hours daily
- Ward rounds are conducted every day from Mondays to Fridays by our multidisciplinary team.
