Welcome to Hennessy Catholic College – a place where we strive to Live Spiritually, Learn Dynamically, Act Justly ……. Inspiring futures of hope.’  Rooted in the rich traditions of Catholic education our mission is shaped by the visionary charisms of Nano Nagle and Edmund Rice, two courageous founders whose compassion and dedication to equality and justice continue to light our way.
Nano Nagle’s unwavering commitment to the marginalised and her belief in the transformative power of education remind us to walk gently, carrying light into places of need. Likewise, Edmund Rice’s deep faith and advocacy for dignity and fairness guide us to stand with others, act with integrity, and cultivate a community where every individual is seen, heard, and valued.
Hennessy Catholic College is a co-educational, Catholic school, for students from Years 7 – 12. It serves as a regional college, catering for students from Young, Boorowa, Cootamundra, Harden-Murrumburrah, Grenfell and surrounding towns.
As a future‑focused learning community, we embrace the opportunities and challenges of an ever‑changing world. Our students are encouraged to think critically, communicate with confidence, collaborate effectively and approach problems with creativity and resilience. Through contemporary learning practices and purposeful use of technology, we prepare young people to navigate complexity, adapt to change and contribute meaningfully to their world.
We prepare our learners for the future by equipping them with the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed for life beyond school: ethical decision‑making, social and emotional capability, and a deep sense of purpose grounded in faith.
Together, we journey as a vibrant community of faith and learning — nurturing character, honouring dignity and fostering hope. Guided by the Gospel, the stories of Nano Nagle and Edmund Rice, and our shared values, we shape students who will lead with courage, compassion and conviction.
