I discovered my confidence at Villa Walsh Academy. At Villa, we are encouraged to ask questions and participate in class discussions. Now, when I walk into a 250-person lecture hall, I feel comfortable speaking up so that I can get a better understanding of the material being taught.

My foreign language education at Villa Walsh was essential for my current profession. I will be joining my law firm’s international arbitration practice group, and the Spanish education that I received at VWA planted very important reading, writing, and comprehension seeds that will allow me to be an asset to my firm and litigate cross-border disputes.

The most crucial skill fostered at VWA was critical thinking. Many of the teachers and classes challenged me to not simply regurgitate information, but to use our own words to think and synthesize conclusions from the facts given.

My Catholic school education created a strong foundation for not only my belief in the fact that God can guide me through anything, but also my belief in the fact that I know I can achieve anything that God has planned for me.

I can truly say that Villa Walsh Academy taught me to be disciplined and diligent with my studies! The work ethic I developed at VWA has given me the drive necessary to pursue my wildest dreams.
