Prout Athletes Compete
Prout’s smaller school size allows athletes to gain more experience, move to varsity faster, and try new sports. Combined with a dedicated coaching staff, that means a long list of all-state athletes and division and state championships.

Visual arts electives include drawing, painting, ceramics, and fiber arts. Opportunities to perform include stage productions, coffee houses, a concert band, a string ensemble, choir, and a jazz band. Dance instruction is part of the curriculum.

In addition to offering college-prep, honors, and some Advance Placement courses, Prout is the first high school in RI to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate program, which provides unmatched preparation for college.
