Welcome to Yanginanook
Welcome to Yanginanook! We are a small, community-minded K–12 Christian school on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. For over four decades, we’ve offered a personalised and nurturing education where every child is known, valued, and supported to achieve their best. Our innovative programs follow the NSW syllabus while responding to the unique strengths and needs of each learner.
We are a unique, mainstream multi-age K-12 school. We have established a secure and fun learning environment where students want to come to school and learn. We provide each child with a balanced education in a supportive and motivating classroom that promotes creativity, confidence, self-discipline, excellence in learning and competent social skills.
Our multi-age environment caters for all students, including those who are gifted and talented and/or experiencing learning difficulties, encouraging all children to succeed and reach their potential.
We believe that every child has God-given gifts and abilities and that these are to be nurtured at school.

High School Development
We’re thrilled to share that our new high school building is now underway and will be ready for classes in 2026! For the first time in four years, our Years 7–12 students will be back on the main Yanginanook site, learning and growing alongside our younger students. This is such an exciting milestone – not only for our high schoolers, who will enjoy brand-new learning spaces designed for creativity and connection, but also for our primary students, who will again benefit from the presence, encouragement, and example of older peers.
After years of planning and perseverance, we’re so thankful to see this dream becoming reality. With the introduction of HSC study through personal learning pathways, Yanginanook now offers a complete K–12 education built around faith, community, and the individual strengths of every student.

We are proud to be different. Instead of moving towards a larger institution, we have remained a small, Christian community that can individualise the curriculum and prioritise the individual needs of our diverse student body. Our students work together in a stimulating learning environment that promotes mutual respect, positive behaviour and excellence in learning – without the negatives of peer pressure and unrealistic expectations. Children come to school each day and experience the reality of working together in unity as a community that aims to meet each other’s needs.
