Where to find us
St. Joseph’s Hospital Kitgum is located within Kitgum Municipality, 3KM North East of the main town (mission area). It is along Dr. Grau Road, Nyikinyiki Cell, Pongdwongo Ward, Kitgum Municipality. Its Postal Address is 31 Kitgum.
The Service population
The hospital serves the population of Kitgum, Lamwo, Pader, and Agago Districts with a significant number of users coming from South Sudan and parts of Karamoja Region (Kabong, Kotido and Abim Districts).

The Institution is a private, not for profit Hospital which belongs to Gulu Archdiosece Lincenced by The Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council and accredited by Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau ( UCMB); The Radiology and Imaging Department is licenced by Uganda Atomic Energy.
The Hospital staff contributes towards holistic healing of the patients with total dedication, respect, empathy and harmony. There are a number of services ranging from general OPD services (Private Out Patient, Antenatal and HIV/AIDS Treatment and Care Support), orthopedic, minor and major surgeries, Eye Health Care and Dental Services. The hospital is a both a training institution (Certificate in Enrolled Nursing and Midwifery), an Intern Centre (Doctors, Nurses, Midwifes and Pharmacists). The Hospital has departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedic and Eye Health headed by Doctors of Special Grade (Specialists).
