Parking and Public Transport
Paid parking is available for the public and visitors in the on-site multi-deck car park off Davey Drive. There are 360 spaces including 10 disabled spaces. This parking is accessible via the lower entrance to the Davey Drive public car park.
A ticketed pay machine is available at the front entrance of the hospital.

Short Term parking
There are a small number of 2 hour paid ticketed parking spaces available on-site accessible via Grey Street at a fee of $3.00 per hour.
Drop off/Pick up
There are 15 minute drop off/pick up spaces available on-site close to the main entrance to the hospital and Emergency Department off Davey Drive, and in the Grey Street driveway shared by the Mental Health facilities and the Eastern Health Breast and Cancer Centre.
Breast and Cancer Centre – Breast Screen Victoria and Breast Clinic
Limited free car parking is available on level Lower Ground of the Breast and Cancer Centre car park (enter from Grey Street). There are three disabled spaces available.
This parking is strictly for clients of the Breast and Cancer Centre only; including Breast Screen and the Breast Clinic.
Street Parking
Free – restricted 2 hour street parking is available in the surrounding streets of the hospital.
Please note: Failure to observe parking restrictions on the hospital grounds and surrounding streets may result in a parking infringement notice being issued by the local council
Accessible Parking is available in the car park opposite the main entrance (accessible from Grey Street) for which a fee is charged. (Parking fees above)

Eastern Health offers Concession Car parking at a discounted rate for holders of eligible concession cards.
How am I eligible?
I am a holder of either a:
Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
Veteran Affairs Pensioner Concession Card
Centrelink Healthcare Card
Veterans Affairs Gold Card (All, War Widow, TPI, POW, & EDA)
The concession rate is only available to those attending Eastern Health sites as a visitor or patient.
The concession card must be in the name of the person requesting the concession rate and can provide photographic identification to confirm eligibility.
What do I need to do?
Present your card and ticket to Main Reception between 7.00am and 8.00pm
What is the concession discount daily parking fee?
$ 5.00
Eastern Health recognises there are occasions where a patient or their immediate family members do not hold a concession card but may be experiencing financial hardship due to their situation.
In these circumstances, a discounted daily car parking rate may be available for the patient and up to two guardians/significant others.
How am I eligible?
I will be attending Eastern Health sites as a patient three or more times a week
I am a legal guardian or significant other of an admitted patient and will be required to attend three or more times a week as part of their care plan
Discounted parking vouchers are valid for 1 month from application date
What do I need to do?
Obtain a Voucher for Discounted Car Parking from Main Reception.
Have the voucher authorised by either a:
Nurse Unit Manager/ Associate Unit Manager
Or Social Worker
Submit the voucher to Main Reception with your ticket.
What is the discount daily parking fee?
$5.00
Ringwood East train station on the Lilydale line in the closest train station to the Hospital.
Bus service no. 380 operates from Ringwood, Ringwood East and Croydon railway stations and stops outside the Hospital in Grey Street.

Established in 1976, Maroondah Hospital in Ringwood East is a metropolitan teaching hospital that provides secondary acute care, and acute adult mental health services.
Our services include emergency medicine, general and specialist medicine, general and specialist surgery, critical care services, ambulatory and allied health services.
