New President Announced!
We are delighted to announce that Mary Kate Blaine will join Notre Dame School of Manhattan as our next President on July 1, 2026. Mary Kate is already well known to the
Chez Nous
community, having spent ten years at Notre Dame as a faculty member and Chair of the Social Studies Department. Her return marks a homecoming for our school and reflects a continuity with Notre Dame’s mission and values. With her meaningful connection to Notre Dame and her commitment to Catholic education, Mary Kate is uniquely positioned to lead our community into its next chapter.
In addition to her years at Notre Dame, Mary Kate brings a remarkable breadth of leadership experience. Her career has included service as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools of the Archdiocese of New York, Principal of Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, Head of School at Trinity Hall in New Jersey, and, most recently, as a professional coach for Catholic school leaders. A graduate of Fordham University and Columbia University, she has dedicated her career to helping schools grow with faith and purpose. We are thrilled to welcome Mary Kate back to Chez Nous and look forward with great excitement to all that lies ahead under her leadership.
