That’s exactly why Year 10 student Will jumped at the opportunity to complete work experience at the boutique cabinetmaking and joinery workshop, where projects are built from scratch, and every detail matters.

The pair are among a growing number of St Patrick’s Technical College students completing repeat work experience placements at the busy fabrication site, returning again and again to build skills, confidence, and connections.
Year 10 STEM Students Take Learning Beyond the Classroom at NAWMA
Our Year 10 STEM students explored the journey of sustainability, taking their classroom learning into the real world. As part of their STEM unit on sustainability and waste, students began by dismantling old technology, uncovering how everyday devices work and learning just how easily some items can be repaired rather than discarded.

CENTURY ENGINEERING
When Daniel decided learning a trade was his path to a significant career, there was no hesitation to commence his secondary education at St Patrick’s Technical College. His decision has seen him exceed in his learning, discover his capabilities, and ultimately propel him into a trade career. At just 15 years of age, Daniel secured a school-based apprenticeship, and now in his final year of schooling, is a second-year apprentice enjoying every moment.
