A warm welcome
Welcome to Whitstone School, a small secondary school set in the small rural town of Shepton Mallet in picturesque Somerset.  With just under 600 students, Whitstone School is a community focused academy school, where each student is celebrated for their own strengths, and is ably supported to overcome any challenges.  During their time at Whitstone School, all of our students are considered part of our school community and throughout all of their learning are instilled with our three main points of focus: Ambition, Respect and Excellence.
We want our students to feel included during their time at Whitstone School, and leave us having the confidence to fulfil their greatest potential.  ‘Inspiring Futures’ is so much more than a strap-line to us, it is ingrained in all that we do - from the highest quality of teaching of a full and varied curriculum, to stimulating and exciting extra-curricular activities, and the most supportive and extensive guidance - we really strive to help our students be the best they can be.
